Example of personal comment:

GENERAL COMMENTS
The general comments are for core subjects for grades 4-6. For example, there are general math comments on overall math level, math stamina, fact fluency, perseverance in math, engagement in math, word problems, supporting others in math class, and active participation in math.
Example of general math comment for organization:
NAME demonstrates stamina during math tasks. This supports her in completing her math work as she sustains focus, most of the time.
UNIT SPECIFIC COMMENTS
Unit specific report card comments are meant to be used to comment on specific units and/or concepts that you've taught that term or semester. They have a space for you to plug in your unit title and/or concepts taught. These comments allow you to comment on how the student progressed within that unit and if they need any additional practice.
Example of unit specific math comment:
In math this term, NAME was meeting grade-level expectations in the following units [unit titles]. She would benefit from additional practice with [math concepts].
