Description
Three 5 page packets to help students learn about coniferous trees, deciduous, and how trees help the environment. Each packet has a vocabulary page that introduces the packet. Then the packet has a story for fluency and marking the text. Next is a page answering questions of different levels for students to refer back to the stories. After that is a page to help the students take the information they learned and organize their writing. Finally is a page for the students to write their stories.
I have used these packets in 2nd grade as week long packets to increase students reading, writing, and science knowledge. Then I used them again as quick 1-2 packets that students love in the 5th grade.
