2nd and 3rd grade Writer's Workshop minilessons

This is a comprehensive list of mini lesson ideas I have used with my 2nd and 3rd graders for Writer's Workshop. They are sorted into categories: procedural, topic choice, getting started, conventions, conferencing, revision, tighten/brighten/sharpen. I keep this list in my plan book and refer to it every day when planning my minilesson. I choose minilessons from different categories and also deviate from my plan when I can see something that my students especially need to work on.
