This bundle includes 4 escape room like activities that students complete ELA tasks to solve mysteries. This is an adventure bundle with activities that can involve critical thinking and cooperative learning. The activities included in this bundle are Attack of the Cafeteria Food, Escape Oz, Attack of the Carnival Rides, & Escape the Nightmare.

These escape room like activities have students complete ELA tasks and use problem solving skills. Students are very EXCITED and ENGAGED when working through these activities. These activities can be done as a whole group or in a small group. The teacher can provide lots of teacher direction or students can work in cooperative groups with minimal assistance. These activities may take around 30-45 minutes each for students to complete.

These activities can be completed by students in 3 different ways.

1-Paper Copy Method-Students complete worksheets with or without going around the room for a scavenger hunt. Directions are provided for both (You will need six 10” x 13” envelopes and to print some sheets)

2-Smart Notebook Method-Students complete activity on Smartboard

3-Google Form Method-Students complete the activity using one-to-one devices using a password protected link or the teacher displays on Smartboard (Internet access required)
