Description

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and just needed a minute to catch your breath? Have you ever wondered how you could keep your class busy while you worked one-on-one with a student or small group? I know I have and that's why I created 7 Minute Whiteboard Videos. They are ZERO prep! No copies! No early finishers! No grading! The best part is, kids LOVE them!

These videos offer a quick, no-prep review that your students are going to love! Each student needs a whiteboard, marker, and eraser.

This set includes a variety of skills and is a great review for your second graders. Skills included are-

Creepy Contractions - We see two graves with words with words on them. Can your kids write the contraction before a ghost appears and shows the answer? Click here to see this video.

OO Words - Ghosts love to say "ooooooooooh!" We hear the ghosts say a word and write it on our boards before the answer is shown. I love the added step of circling the /oo/ sound in the word before erasing. Click here to see a preview of this video.

Telling Time to the HAUNTED Quarter Hour - Telling time has never been so creepy! We see a grandfather clock and a portrait asks us what time it is. Can your kids write the time before the video shows the answer? I love how this video checks answers by highlighting the hour hand and minute hand as the correct time is shown. Click here to see an example from this video.

Ghost Letters (Silent Letters) - Your students will copy a word that contains a silent letter and then draw a ghost around the letter that is silent. This video is so cute! Click here to see it!

Trick-or-Treat Addition Arrays - Each trick or treater will get the same number of candies. Your students need to draw an array and write an addition sentence to figure out how many they will get in all. I love how this walks them through the process of checking their answers. It really brings this concept to life. Click here to see a preview of the video.

Comparing 3-Digit Numbers - We see and hear two numbers and must write them and compare them using greater than, less than, or equal to signs before a spider drops in and tells us the correct answer. Click here to see a preview of this video.

Fact Families (facts to 20) - We see three number and your students have to write them in addition and subtraction sentences to create fact families. Click here to see an example of this video.

Slide, Flip, or Turn? - Such a great way to introduce slides, flips, and turns. The animations really bring the concept to life. Click here to see a preview of this video!

Addition Sentences to 20 - We see eyeballs in two jars and your kids will need to write and solve the addition sentence to figure out how many there are altogether. I love the audio and visual that helps kids check their work. Click here to see this video.

Alphabetical Order - We see and hear four words as they appear in a cauldron and we have to put them in alphabetical order. As an added challenge, we have to create a title for the list of words we have written. Click here to see an example of this video.

SOLVE IT! DRAW IT! Addition to 20 - These are a class favorite. It's like directed drawing with a math fact. Use mental math to solve facts and add the detail to your picture based on your answer. When you are finished, if you answered all the questions correctly, "your picture should look like this." Click here to see it!

Missing addend, subtrahend, and minuend (facts to 20), Read It! Draw it! Adjective
