2nd Grade Daily Word Problem Book & Cards 2.OA.1, 2.NBT.5 {SET 2}

This pack contains 45 addition and subtraction word problems with sums and differences within 100 WITH & WITHOUT regrouping. Students will need to be familiar (or at least learning) to regrouping with both addition and subtraction with two digits addends. The word problems in this pack involve situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing, with unknowns in all positions. Most of the problems in this set are one-step word problems.

This pack can be used as a daily practice for students, math center activity, whole group guided activity, or any other way you see fit. A student word problem book (23 pages) and a set of the same word problems on color cards is included in this pack. In my own classroom I will be using both items. Students will each have their own book to work in and I will use the color word problem cards on the document camera or Smartboard as we discuss our daily word problem.

The problems in this pack are most appropriate for middle of the year 2nd graders, but could be used to challenge some first graders. The problems in this pack are aligned to Common Core Standards for 2nd grade.
