Description

The resource contains a set of 10 ENGAGING fictional reading passages followed by comprehension questions. These passages are INTERESTING and EASY TO UNDERSTAND stories that will engage your students and prepare them for reading and comprehending longer and more complex texts as they grow older.

Each passage is one page long followed by comprehension questions on the next page. Students will read each passage carefully and then their comprehension will be assessed with a mixture of multiple choice questions and written response.

The passages can be used with 3rd grade students or with 2nd grade higher readers that are ready to be exposed to longer texts or with 4th and 5th grades for extra reading comprehension practice. Great for small reading groups, independent work, homework, or Reading Intervention. Answer keys included!
