    2D and 3D Shapes Bingo

    This fun bingo game reviews the attributes of 2D shapes and 3D solids. There are 30 different game boards provided in both color and black and white. The teacher calling cards provides clue about each shape or solid to help students practice identifying the shapes based on their attributes.

    Four Different Versions of the Bingo Boards are included:

    1. Color with shape names (30 boards)

    2. Color with no shape names (30 boards)

    3. black and white with shape names (30 boards)

    4. Black and white with no shape names (30 boards)

    This resource covers the following shapes:

    Real Life 2D Shapes Bingo

    This fun bingo game reviews identifying 2D shapes in the real world. To play this game, the teacher reads a clue from the calling cards i.e. "Each car uses four of these circles to roll on the road." The students will then look at their game boards to find the matching real life 2D Shape (a car tire). There are 35 different game boards included, not every student will have the matching shape on their game boards every time.

    I have also included a PowerPoint presentation displaying the clues from the teacher calling cards. This allows you to project the clues to be read by students. After reading the clues, click the arrow to reveal the picture of the correct real life 2D shape. If you do not want to display the answer to the class, simply click the home button to choose another clue.

    There are 35 different color game boards provided.

    2D Shapes Flipbook

    Your students will practice identifying the attributes of 2D shapes with this interactive flip book. On each page students fill in the blank to record the number of sides and corners for each shape. Then, students trace an outline of the shape. Finally, students draw their own version of the shape. The completed flip book is 9 pages (8 shape pages and a cover). There are 7 black and white pages to print to make each book.

    Defining Attributes of Shapes First Grade Task Cards

    First graders can practice identifying the defining attributes of shapes, including circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, and trapezoids, with these colorful task cards.

    Sets 1 and 2 (32 task cards each) cover identifying examples vs. non-examples of shapes, Set 3 (20 task cards) asks students to draw shapes to posses defining attributes and to label shapes by name. Each set contains task cards, an answer sheet, and answer key. These task cards are aligned to the first grade Common Core Standard: 1.G.A.1

    Attributes of 2D Shapes Boom Cards

    tudents will review the defining attributes of 2D shapes with these fun task cards. Students will identify the number of vertices or sides of a shape, sort by type of shape, and find hidden shapes in pictures.
