This activity will allow your students to reflect on the past year and create a clear intention for the new year by choosing one important word. 36 example words, 18 words with definitions, and one complete example are provided to scaffold this task for students having difficulty. The activity concludes by creating a small 3D cube (approximately 2.5" x 2.5") that can be kept in a visual location to serve as a daily reminder of this year's goals.
