This Google presentation will help you add some extra culture to the Calendar Talk routine in your Spanish classes! Click on the flags for each country to see what the weather is in that part of the world. Scaffold your discussion by comparing temperatures and climate events in different regions and your own hometown. Help students to passively learn the capitals of Spanish speaking countries and a bit of geography as well with this daily routine! Practice numbers in Spanish, days of the week, months of the year, and weather on a regular basis.
The slides also include a daily feelings check-in, scaffolded for novice and intermediate students and calendar slides for the 2022-23 school year to discuss special events. There are additional seasonal scaffolded speaking prompts for each month and scaffolded writing activities as well. The calendars will be updated yearly and you will receive those updates for free!
