20 Music Matching Games with Themes & Wall Posters

This packet has 20 different music matching games I call "Mood Matchings" which I have used in Pre-K through 6th grade classrooms throughout the entire school year. Each activity has its own specific instructions included on the document, but the general steps involve the teacher placing the posters for that activity around the room on different walls. The class stands in the center of the room. The teacher plays the first song on the playlist (every track is linked to a YouTube video of the track) and students walk to the poster that they think matches the song. Some activities have right answers; others are more subjective and the students defend their reasoning. The teacher brings the class back to the center, reveals the right answer (if there is one) and plays the next track. Your class will want to play this game every week! With so many new songs, themes and images, they never get tired of it!
