1. Research what the idiom; “Keeping up with the Joneses” means and relate how it can affect a person’s spending as they age.

2. It’s easier than ever to spend money today than it was in the past. Explain why this is so. Think creatively about all of the ways companies can have you spend money nowadays.

3. We didn’t always have money as you know it. How and why did money come about? What are some reasons why using currency as we do today is so useful.

4. Things have sure changed when it comes to finances just in the last few years. PayPal, online checking, Bitcoin, I can even text someone money. Where do you think future of money is going and what will currency be like ten years from now?
