What educators are saying

My students loved using this and I could use it with multiple levels because it was leveled as well. The boxes are already drawn for the students too.
This is perfect! So happy to have found a resource with the base ten blocks and not just the algorithm. I used this as an assessment and it was perfect.

    Description

Give your 2nd grade math students practice with 2 digit and 3 digit addition and subtraction with and without regrouping. Your students will be adding and subtracting 2-digit and 3-digit numbers using base ten blocks. This resource will help your students stay organized while drawing squares, sticks, and dots to represent hundreds, tens, and ones. It is perfect for visualizing hundreds, tens, and ones when adding and subtracting 2-digit and 3-digit numbers, but saves time by not having to draw the base ten blocks.

This bundle includes worksheets for practice and exit tickets for assessment.

Each worksheet includes an example that shows how to solve the problems and 5 practice problems.

    Worksheets for each level:

    • Addition problems without regrouping
    • Addition problems with regrouping
    • Subtraction problems without regrouping
    • Subtraction problems with regrouping

Each exit ticket has 2 practice problems without the hundreds, tens, and ones table. The students can solve without the table or they can draw their own table.

The exit ticket pages include two copies on each page so you can save paper.

    Exit Tickets for each level:

    • Addition without regrouping
    • Addition with regrouping
    • Subtraction without regrouping
