This simple one page skill goal sheet that is a fun and very visual way for the kids to see what first grade skills they have mastered. When a skill has been mastered, the child can put a sticker in the box. Excellent motivation to meet first grade goals.

Various uses for this sheet can be:

-provided to parents at conferences or open house to inform parents what their child is expected to learn in first grade.

-placed in homework folders or data notebooks as a form of communication to students to allow them to see all they have learned as well as informing parents to see what their child has mastered and where they may need extra support and help.

Also a great resource to hand out at parent teacher conferences or open house to inform parents what their child will be learning in first grade.

Includes basic first skills such as:

reading CVC words

reading multi- syllable words

reading long vowel words

segmenting words

identifying short and long vowel words

counting to 120

telling time

identify halves and fourth

reading and writing sight words

adding and subtracting

adding and subtracting 10

I have also included a second version with the common core standards that each skill is mostly aligned coded in each square
