Description

1st Grade Eureka Squared Assessment Test Tracker for Student Data Notebooks

This 1st Grade Eureka Squared Assessment Test Tracker for Student Data Notebooks is a great way to give students accountability and help them have a growth mindset about math. These are helpful to use at student-led conferences, parent-teacher conferences, and teacher evaluations.  Having data to show student growth is always a positive!

The trackers are aligned with the Eureka Squared math program.  Each tracker has standards that are specifically assessed on each module test.  Some standards are embedded with others so that’s why you won’t see all of the standards listed for each module.

Printing these trackers is super easy.  You can print them in color or black and white.  Punch 3 holes in them for your data notebooks or attach them to assessments.

Print and go!  It’s that easy.

How you can use this product!

  • Print the student assessment trackers before students take the pre-assessment for each module. Conference with students regarding their progress towards achievement descriptors and standards.  Then, have your students circle “Yes, I can!”, “Almost there!”, or “Not YET!”.
  • After students have received instruction on each module and taken the module assessment, conference with them regarding their results.  Reference the standards and problems on the test so students understand how they were scored.  Then, have your students circle “Yes, I can!”, “Almost there!”, or “Not YET!”.
  • At the bottom of the page is a section for students to reflect upon their learning.  They can write areas that need to continue to work on…” grow their brain”.  I use this area after the pre-assessment if I have a student who scores well and only needs instruction in 1-2 things.  Otherwise, I have students reflect upon their learning after the post-assessment because oftentimes they will move to intervention groups to work on standards they need more practice with.  It’s up to you how you want to use it!

Other Ideas!

  • You will make a copy in Google Docs so these are editable for your specific grade-level needs.

What do you get?

  • An editable copy of a Google Doc containing student assessment trackers for all 6 modules of the Eureka Squared 1st-grade curriculum.  Each tracker has standards that align with the module assessment and individual test questions. It's so easy to grade student tests and conference with students about their results using this tracker because each test question and standard align with the scoring guide.
