What educators are saying

My students love using these activities for the first few weeks of school. It helps us all get to know each other.
I read "The Time Capsule" by Lauren Redniss. We used the "All About Me" worksheet to make our own time capsules about ourselves.

Description

This first grade back to school booklet will help make your planning for the first week of school easier and provide your 1st grade students and their families with a memorable keepsake. Having taught for many years, I know that there are always some odd minutes to fill before routines are established and often times your attention is needed to handle an immediate, unexpected matter (i.e. new student at the door who hadn’t registered prior to that day and a child who is crying because they are struggling with the transition). During those times, it is important to have an activity on hand that your students can work on by themselves. This “I am a 1st Grader” packet is it!

Use them as:

◼️ first day of school activities

◼️ first week of school activities
