1st - 3rd Word Problems - Addition Subtraction - EXCEL

This is a 4 page packet of part to whole and whole to part addition and subtraction word problems. First, let me say that I do NOT endorse worksheets, but when students are still not the very best readers, it helps for them to use math to develop their literacy skills while developing their number and computational skills. These word problems vary from easy to harder to give them a range of skills to practice at once. Most of my first graders could do these problem by the 2nd semester, but I could easily see that the less proficient students in a 3rd grade class could still be working on the skills these problems address. This is an EXCEL Spreadsheet that you can modify and personalize however you like. I only ask that you share with others where you found them.
