What educators are saying

My class enjoyed reading the passages. We then used their knowledge to write about the different types of weather.
This was such a useful tool whole homeschooling! It was nice to have it all put together and ready to use.

Who are these weather activities and reading passages for?

This product is geared towards 1st and 2nd grade students. The passages are written at a level where most 1st grade students will need assistance if expected to read them on their own, making them perfect for guided reading groups and group instruction.

How can I use this 1st & 2nd Grade Weather Unit in my classroom?

In my first grade classroom, I use this unit during whole group instruction during our science block. It is the perfect way to integrate science into our curriculum.

Wow Jodi! This is just fantastic!! I can't wait to use this starting Tuesday with my class. I love the informational pieces you included and the activities using all the new concepts. The Helpful/Harmful pages will be fun for the class to read. I know we have not really talked about all the helpful ways weather aids our lives. I am especially thrilled with all the cloud pages and the excellent water cycle pages. Thank you so much for making my life easier. Now I have to go print!!!

⭐ This is awesome! It covers so much!! I absolutely love the harmful versus helpful passages. That was the main reason I liked this resource but it is full of so much more!

⭐ This is such a good supplemental packet to my science unit on weather. I put this all together as a book for my kids and they loved it. Made it so easy on me for my lessons. Everything I needed is there.
