Histogram is a play on Instagram.

Histogram is a fictitious online site. Students post a thought, a picture, and/or a question from the point of view of a variety of historical figures.

A brief history of the historical figures along with an event/ topic will be provided. Students will reply to the post as the historical figures. This allows students to create, evaluate, and analyze historical events and decisions.

Histogram helps students understand chronological thinking, how events build and develop over time, and cause and effect relationships.

Students develop critical thinking skills and gain a deeper understanding of historical events.

Students will learn about Ida B. Wells, Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth, and Eleanor Roosevelt.
