Hello Fellow Teacher,
Are you looking for a brain break activity, a quick think-pair-share, a bell ringer, or a short journaling activity. You have found it here! There are 180 questions (with five per slide) with a total of 18 slides of content. (That is one for each week of the semester.)
Use one per day, or once a week. You can also show one slide each week and let students choose the question they want to answer.
Out sick from work or at a training? The sub can easily facilitate this activity.
Use these prompts to practice expository writing.
Here is another way to use these questions. Once a week, show one slide. Students pick the question they want to answer. After 13 weeks, students select their favorite/best four responses. They can edit and develop their responses, and they can share them with the class. To further develop their public speaking skills, they can create their own PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation with their four responses and pictures.
Use this in any class as a way to get to know your students.
