What educators are saying

This is exactly what I was looking for. Journal prompts that I can project that will get my students writing every day. It has many diverse topics and writing styles to really get students thinking outside the box. Thank you!
These are fantastic! My students are engaged and challenged with these prompts. The format is easy for them to follow, and they understand the task with little direction from me. This has helped my students gain confidence in writing. Thank you!

    Description

This set includes one year of 180 daily writing activities! The prompts are designed to be used during different months of the year - September to May. Each month has 20 writing prompts themed to that month.

There are multiple ways to use this product:

#1 Digital Version- Use with Google Slides or PowerPoint and have the students write the prompts in a journal or notebook.

#2 Print Version- Print the PDF file for your students to use for the writing prompts.

#3 Do both! Use Google Slides or PowerPoint and also print the handouts for students to use.

***The handouts can also be used in the tpt Easel platform. There are 2-3 prompts with drawing portions, which we all know is a little difficult on Easel.

The daily writing prompts are themed by the day of the week, for continuity for your students. These writing activities work well in a classroom, for a homeschool student, or for remote learners.

**Narrative, opinion, and informative writing are all included. There are standard writing assignments as well as a few lists, a comic, a web, and a letter.

A portion of the packet can be viewed in the preview!

Note: If you have purchased any of our 1st grade bundles, the topics in the 2nd/3rd grade versions are similar, but adjusted for an older age range. If you have a younger student, they can use the 1st grade version along with this one.

    Files included in the packet:

*PDF of the printable writing prompts

    *Google Drive Slides File- PPT
