180 Circle Time Songs Choice Board Preschool Kindergarten Special Education AAC

Song Choice Card, Circle Time, Choice Making This is a song card that can be used during circle time. It is great for language development and choice making, perfect for preschoolers, students with special needs and early intervention. Preschool Circle Time song choice board is something I use every day! Children make a song selection. It allows you as the teacher to choose which songs will be featured during circle time but also gives the children the opportunity to make choices. This can be the first step in communication with the children making requests. This is great for early intervention, preschool, daycare, special education or kindergarten students.

Can also be used in special education. For students who are non-verbal or using PECS as their communication system, it will allow them to make the selection and give it to the adult. It is great for kindergarten song choices in the classroom.

Songs are something that can assist in the development of language as well as other learning (rhyming, counting, etc.). The repetition of the lyrics aids in memory and the fact that the vowels are elongated assists some children in developing verbal skills.

I find that the students I work with love picking new songs or will pick a song that they know their friends enjoy, making this tool also a fabulous one for building social skills.

Laminate the song board base and put Velcro (soft side) on each of the squares.

Laminate the song choices and cut them apart and put Velcro on each square (hard side).

There are some sentence strips so if you are working to increase the sentence length you are able to use. The child can 'read' the pictures to say the sentence. I like this song.
