    Description

    Hello Fellow Educator,

Are you looking for some new bell ringer activities to include in your rotation? There are five different PDF’s with 36 slides each. They include the following:

36 Picture Prompts: Teach Sentence Development & Creative Writing
36 Undated Sentence Starters for Literature & Current Events
36 Weeks of Journal Questions (108 Total Questions with 3 Per Week
    36 Opportunities for Combining Sentences
36 Positive Words for 36 Positive Weeks of School

You can rotate your bell ringer activities over the course of the course of each day of the week for the entire school year. For example:

    Mondays: do one picture prompt

Tuesday: do one undated sentence starter

    Wednesday: do one positive word

    and so on...

Here are some other ideas for how to use these bell ringer activities:

    • Use one PDf for seven consecutive weeks at a time before moving on to the next one.
    • Include some of the activities in your sub plans.
    • Use some of the activities as brain breaks.
    • If there is time at the end of class, use one of these activities.
    • Students can develop their responses to the picture prompts, create visuals using PowerPoint or Google, and present their stories to the class.

These activities are both fun and academic. They are all curriculum based and designed to spark creativity and compassion while developing their writing skills and communication.

Using these activities enable students to develop their skills in all four ELA standards: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening, and Language.
