18 Song Tale Posters with Lyrics on the Back!

The songs in this file can be found in the First Steps in Music curriculum by John F. Feierabend.

The point for including SongTales (folk songs that tell a story) into a lesson is for the teacher to perform the song for the class with a good tone while expressing the intent of the song. These songs should be memorized when performing.

However, if you're new to the First Steps curriculum or have a student teacher, this can be a great resource to use as "training wheels" until memorization is achieved. A picture that portrays the song is printed on one side and the lyrics are on the back for the teacher to use as needed.
