What educators are saying

The variety of prompts to choose from is good and the colorful graphics helped my students get a jump start on ideas. Recommend.

Description

Get the creative juices flowing with these 13 graphics enhanced writing prompts. The horror literature genre elicits some strong emotions and students often find it easy to put themselves into the role of author with prompts that directly relate to middle school common core standards for narrative writing. Three rubrics, a “read and evaluate each others’ pieces anonymously” lesson and exit tickets are included.

Easy sub plan - the sub can show the prompt on screen or post on the walls and use gallery walk style.
