Each slides is composed of 3 clue cards and a definition. Everything is trigger-animated, so answers are revealed upon clicking! Students can quiz themselves. This is a great way to learn vocabulary.
Clue cards include:
1. part of speech
2. example sentence
3. antonyms
4. plus a card with the definition
My middle schoolers LOVED this PowerPoint. They love clicking on the clues to figure out the definition on their own, and then checking themselves by clicking on the definition card! Parents loved this even more because it was a great take-home study guide! I like putting it up on the SmartBoard when we have spare time and playing a game with teams - full points if your team knows the definition without clicking on a clue, subtract 1 point for each clue they use to figure out the answer!
Great for:
Flipped classrooms, computer lab activities, test-prep, substitute-days, and even homeschooling!
All 10 powerpoints are in a zipped folder format.
Added BONUS - each PowerPoint includes a free, editable template add-on at the end so students can add a couple vocabulary of their own (trigger animations are built into the template so new cards work the same as all the others) This greatly extends the use of this study guide!
