Description
Arabic For Beginners is a well-structured course that adopts an innovative method in teaching the skills of reading and writing Arabic to absolute beginners from a broad age range. Extensive written exercises give students ample opportunity to put into practice the skills they have learned, enabling them to build up confidence in reading and writing vocalized Arabic text.
This unit covers:
- Write and recognize the letter Alif by itself.
- Write and recognize the letter Alif at the beginning of a word.
- Write and recognize the letter Alif in the middle of a word.
- Write and recognize the letter Alif at the end of a word.
- Pronounce the letter Alif by itself.
- Pronounce and write Alif with Fatḥah and the long vowel Alif.
- Pronounce and write Alif with Kasrah and the long vowel Yā’.
- Pronounce and write Alif with Ḍammah and the long vowel Wāw.
Exercises: There are Eight excercises in this unit.
Evaluation Tests:
At the end of the unit, there are qre two Evaluation Tests(Onefor Writing and one for Reading).
The students should get at least 75% to pass (to go to the next unit).
