Description
A very common topic to discuss in Social Skills is the Speech Filter. Students with Autism or Social Communication disorder often struggle with what is appropriate and what is not appropriate to say. This deck will help your students see the difference between what to SAY and what to THINK.
This is a DUO GOOGLE SLIDE and BOOM deck lesson. Either the Google Slide or Boom deck can be used individually since the content is identical. It simply depends how you want to teach your lesson. If you want students to work independently- choose the boom deck, if you want to work as a group, use the google slide version.
This is a lesson with 23 multiple choice scenarios to complete as a class. Either the google slide or Boom deck can stand alone.
However, if you choose to download your free BOOM deck You can assign it for independent work for those students who may need more practice. (once again , content is identical)
INCLUDED ARE:
- 26 page Google SlideShow
- Printable PDF Assessment with Answer Key
- Complimentary Matching BOOM deck
- (Content is identical to the slide show so it is not necessary for the lesson -just a nice perk in an effort to introduce you to BOOM cards!)
- Simple directions to Download a copy of SLIDES to your computer for when you don't have internet access
