This bundle includes colorful flashcards, journal booklet, and project instructions.

There are 3 lesson plans included in this bundle. Each class is about 45 minutes to an hour long.

This project includes the following:

1. The Little Engineer’s Guide Booklet (2 versions)
2. The Little Engineer’s Guide (individual pages) – If you choose to NOT print it as a booklet
3. Vocabulary flashcards
4. (3) Full lesson plans with teacher’s notes, background information and project instructions.
5. Materials list included with the lesson plans
6. Airplane tailfins and wings template

The airplane will require materials but most of the materials are easy to find around the house.

Lesson Breakdowns:

Lesson 1:

• Learn the different parts of a plane and begin building the straw airplane.

Lesson 2:

• Learn about the four forces of flight and build a slingshot launcher.

Lesson 3:

• Learn about distance, measurement and test the airplanes.

There are 2 versions of this journal available.

• Introductory version - mostly tracing.
• Advance version – Mostly blank and fill in blanks.

Science Journal Printing Instructions:

• Paper Size: A4 or A3
• Landscape
• Fit to Paper
• Print on both sides (flip on SHORT EDGE)
