These pink and blue toilet passes will help keep track of who has been during the day. I'm finding my 3rd graders are needing to go all the time and it's driving me nuts. So from now on they get one free pass to the toilet and if they have to go again during the day they'll owe time.

It's My Life: A real-life budgeting activity with decimals
This activity is a great way to apply decimal skills to real life. Students will manage a budget and write checks to pay their bills. There is also a group activity at the end that allows them to experience real situations (doctor bills, eating out, etc.). My students LOVE this activity!

This is a nice activity that breaks down direct proportion problems for low ability groups. I have put these around the classroom and then got students to work in pairs trying to complete them. The answers are at the bottom of each poster, which I fold up and stick down so the students can not see them until they are ready to check their answers.

Steps to solving Word Problems
A nice acronym for your students to remember the steps in solving a word problem thoroughly. I made an anchor chart to hang in the classroom, I had them copy it on the line with the papers, glued my sample sheet in their homework books, and put the little ones right on their desk.
