M&M Candy Solubility Lab for Science
This is a fun activity that gives kids the excuse to use M&M's for the sake of science! Test concepts of solubility in chemistry using these colorful candies. Making Predictions and Inferences Through Pictures (Predicting and Inferring)
Introducing the differences between predictions and inferences can be tricky! For this Prezi, students can talk as a class about the differences between the two. For each picture, consider prompting your students with "what do you think will happen" (prediction) and following up that question by asking "and why" (inference).

Otherwise, students will simply draft a piece of text, read it over once if we’re lucky, and call it good.
