I made this video over the course of several months in my backyard Sonoran Desert. It follows a 200-year-old giant cactus budding, blooming, being pollinated (by bees), fruiting and being eaten (by birds), seed scattering (by coyotes), planting (by ants), and (unexpectedly) losing an arm and decaying.
