This slideshow introduces the four basic forms of government that developed in ancient Greece, and uses contemporary problems to encourage students to think about the strengths and weaknesses of each as a way of making decisions. It concludes with an assessment and rubric; students write a paragraph defending one form of government and providing reasons for its superiority.
