Slime Lab
This is a lab that I created because my students enjoyed slime and had expressed interest in making it at school. I used this as a way to launch into the scientific process and matter. We discussed the phases of matter as ingredients were measured and mixed together. This lab guides students through the whole process of a science lab. Organizing Your Writing (CHANT + TEMPLATE INCLUDED!!)
FlockStar Teachers inspired the creation of this product! I found their chant for organizing writing on TikTok and decided to make slides to accompany my classroom lessons. I plan on projecting and printing the second slide for modeling and assessing this strategy.
