The Game of Evolution--Creature features Will You Survive?
This evolution activity is great as an introduction to evolution or a fun game at any time during your evolution unit.1) It has fun traits for your students to choose from and2) the game cards allow your students' "creatures" to survive and reproduce or possibly go extinct. Potato osmosis - experiment
The experiment shows the principles of osmosis, with potato slices incubated in water and in salt solutions. It is a reliable way to obtain meaningful results.
