Wellbeing - Emotion Snap! (Positve Education)

This lovely little snap game supports little ones to develop their emotional literacy. How many times do we hear little ones tell us they are 'happy' or sad'? Help them increase their language which can in turn support the development of self regulation. The second level of the game is included where children can match the pictures to the correct description. This helps them add to their vocabulary and understand what the emotion words actually mean.

Social Games Recording Sheet

Created by
Top Dog Teaching
This recording sheet was designed to allow students to reflect on what they have learned while playing social games in an options class. Students find it fun and challenging to play card and board games with their peers. It teaches them about taking turns, following rules, winning gracefully and more importantly losing gracefully. It forces them to put down the electronics and talk to each other face to face. Something that is disappearing in our world.
