The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast were all used. The same movies were used for both comparing 2 things (-er) and comparing 3+ things (-est). The first slide contains singular nouns and the second slide contains plural nouns. Teacher will ask students to make observations about both slides (before introducing the words singular and plural nouns) and help students understand the meaning of both set of words. Then anchor chart is shown that explains the rules.
