This is a great chant for learning the alphabet and pronunciation of Spanish letters! Just chant the alphabet in a monotone, military voice and have students repeat after you. Each line repeats either 2 or 3 times so each time the chant is done, students get a lot of practice in a fun way. After several days of chanting, the students will be masters and you can have students take turns leading the chant, or you can all chant together without repeating. A new spin on Jeopardy. Teams answer a question "out of the hat". If they're right, they pick a square. The square will reveal 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, or 100 points! (Yes, they might win 100 points for an easy question!) But beware! There are BOMBS on the board too (La BOMBa...get it!?!?) If you hit a bomb, you lose all your points. Great for review, and poorly performing teams can still have a shot at winning. No questions are included, just the SMART board game.

I go to the dollar store and pick up packs of pencils, pens, some fun erasures, maybe some candy, etc. The grid goes on the board and students each have a piece of paper or a white board and marker. This game allows teams to try and move the ball up and down the field to score Touchdowns and Field Goals while stopping their opponents. They must answer review questions you create for whichever topic or unit you want. Questions of varying difficulty levels are worth varying yardage amounts. The yardage values, question slides, and even the field itself are completely editable and can be easily customized to fit your needs. Whether introducing or reviewing the passé composé with être, this is a good interactive tool designed in SmartNotebook. The first couple of pages are the rules with examples, as well as the famous Dr and Mrs Vandertrampp. There are a couple of interactive pages--putting in the correct auxiliary verb AND the correct ending for the past participle--as well as pictures with sentence starters to get them using the construction. This worked very well with my students over the years!
