Boy in the Striped Pajamas Chapter 1
The Chapter 1 slide deck introduces students to the concept of making inferences and provides 11 separate passages that all lead students to assemble the answer for their Chapter 1 Focus question. Passages for inferencing could be used as a jigsaw or completed together as a class.
