ACT TRACKER (HIGH/LOW--FAST/SLOW)
This is an ACT tracker that I created for my students on Publisher. I call it high/low--fast/slow. We practice two of each piece on the Reading portion of the test and do a "Quick Write" or "Power Write" in between each. This allows students to keep track of their scores and word count and at the end of the unit they can determine which pieces they do best on and what particular order they should do them in on the real ACT test. What Should I Do Next?
As teachers, we hear the question, "I finished my assignment, what should I do next?" To share with my fellow teachers, I've created a "What Should I Do Next" poster that you can hang on a bulletin board in your classroom. During the beginning of the school year, you may explicitly teach the expectation for what students should do if they complete a task or assignment early. Students can then reference this poster to view their options. Enjoy!
