An introduction to the great journalists in our history, including some infamous journalists and journalism scandals as well. It includes important women contributors such as Nellie Bly. This is a great way to begin a journalism unit in writing.

Civil Rights Movement Presentation and Discussion Questions
Engage your students with a wonderful Prezi Presentation that overviews several key events that happened during the Civil Rights Movement, such as Brown vs. Board of Education, Emmett Till, the Little Rock 9, Freedom Riders, Dr. King's speech, Selma, and more!
This is a great way to introduce to the students a very crucial time period in American history, and is a great segway into a research report opportunity or informative writing!

You will then make a presentation to teach the class all about them. There is one catch- don’t tell anyone who you have! We are going to try to figure it out based on your hints. You can reveal your Wonder Woman at the end of your presentation. Maybe you’ll get some inspiration from these wonderful ladie
