Smart STEM Tallest Christmas Tree
Tis the season for holiday STEM! Here is a SmartBoard activity that I made for a 2nd grade class. This Smart has directions, materials, charts and timers for the activity. Students are to build the tallest Christmas tree that they can in 15 minutes. At the beginning, I have the jobs broken down. Action vs Linking Verb Exercise for Smartboard
This Smartboard file (Notebook software version 10) is an exercise of 5 slides with 25 example sentences for action vs. linking verbs. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a wonderful book, full of exciting characters. This is a SMART Response unit designed to be used while reading this book. Christmas Trivia SmartBoard Activity
This is a very fun game to play on the SmartBoard. It is adaptable for any number of participants. You can play the game using the Smart Response clickers but they are not required. The game designed to use a koosh ball or bean bag to throw at the dancing reindeer to bring up a question. If you don't want to use this techniques students can touch the reindeer and the question will open.
