Addition Fluency Data Tracker Pyramid

This is a pyramid of addition facts that I use to build addition fluency. When my kids pass their time-test, they get to color in that row. Then, they put their "code name" (that they create!) on the top and after each math class, I re-stack the pyramid to see who has the most fluency mastered. Works great for a data wall and to encourage kids to master their fluency!

I use these as a math center for my first graders. I laminate both sheets, and cut out the numbers. I store the numbers in a soap box container. Students draw a number and write the expanded form of that number using a dry erase marker. You could also use this as a hand out. This is fairly easy for most of my first graders, but could also be used with second and lower third graders.

This could even be used for fun in 3rd grade or by changing the equations to multiplication and making the numbers larger in the sequencing section.*This is my first listing and I had trouble converting the doc to the thumbnail which is why there isn't a thumbnail visible.
