This is a gallery walk introduction activity to get students thinking before direct instruction,. You will place these posters (4) around the room and group students to do 3 minutes at each station. Their job is to write down "noticing" about each specific property... Commutative, Associative, Additive Identity and Multiplicative Identity. Then students can come together to discuss what their partners noticed. At the end of the activity students add to their notes through direct instruction.
