Standard Form and Word Form
This document highlights how periods inform how we write numbers in word form. Students can discuss the blanks as a class or research on their own to discover the big idea. Students can then decorate these notes. Through the process of decorating and highlighting, students will be reviewing and rereading the material numerous times which helps a lot to drive home vocabulary or big math ideas. This page can be stored away as a reference sheet for later review.
