Dance Tutorials and Combos
This is a list I started during the pandemic so students could get additional help at home. I have links to different skills for different levels included. I keep it in my Google Classroom so they have access to it all the time. I use the combo links for students who need to make up absences and some enjoying learning extra dances for fun. Dancer Profile Reflection and Goal-Setting
This activity can be used with a recording from class, performance, or done after watching themselves dance in front of the mirror in class. Where is Broadway Chapter 5 Questions
One of my favorite book series, the "Who/What/Where" books, has a great one about Broadway and live musicals. This is a set of comprehension and reflection questions to go with chapter 5 of this book. Please note that I do not include the actual reading in this lesson plan. You must have your own copy of the book to assign this! I love this plan for a sub day, as an independent learning activity while you grade, or as supplemental homework for over a long break.
