Speech Communication Nonverbal Experiment
This experiment can be done in a speech class to work on how humans use nonverbal language to communicate. Oftentimes we don't realize social norms are followed until they are broken. This is a fun assignment for students to do in or outside of school to analyze nonverbal language. Students will decide what social norm to break - maybe they sit very close to someone or use very loud speech in conversation.
