Pumpkin Seed Place Value Activity
This is activity is a fun, hands on way to review place value! You can have students guess how many pumpkin seeds they will scoop out of the pumpkin (you could do small groups or just one pumpkin for the whole class). First they will write the standard form of the number and then draw place value disks to show a pictorial version of the number in hundreds, tens, and ones. Next, they will write the number in written, expanded, and unit form. Afterwards they can count their pumpkin seeds and check
