Write a Winter Poem
In this activity, students write a poem about the outdoors in the winter
Students complete a graphic organizer in which they list words, phrases, and literary devices that describe the outdoors in winter.
Students are then given a choice of how to write their poem.
a. For those students who need guidance, they may choose to follow the outline that helps them organize some of those words and phrases into poetry
b. For students who have experience or are gifted at poetry, they may choose to go
