Weekly Homework Packet Cover
This homework packet cover is wonderful for keeping students on target with their homework. You can fix it how you like. Change it up or even leave the spaces blank so students can write their own assignments in. You will definitely need to change the name unless your last name is the same as mine.:) I created this when I was student teaching and I have used in for four years now! ACT TRACKER (HIGH/LOW--FAST/SLOW)
This is an ACT tracker that I created for my students on Publisher. I call it high/low--fast/slow. We practice two of each piece on the Reading portion of the test and do a "Quick Write" or "Power Write" in between each. This allows students to keep track of their scores and word count and at the end of the unit they can determine which pieces they do best on and what particular order they should do them in on the real ACT test. This activity encourages students to review materials for a small number of minutes over several days instead of cramming for a test the night before. IT accumulates "stars", earned by doing varying levels of activities. Percentage of stars earned by the class determines the number of minutes a review game will be played in class.
